We offer essential services to the vessels, facilities, and infrastructure connected to the project. With over 350 skilled employees and more than 25 years of experience, Vinje Industri brings a wide spectrum of industrial expertise to the table — including 3D scanning, engineering, rope access technician, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, structural, and project execution disciplines.

Our foundation lies in the offshore oil and gas and maritime sectors, and in recent years we have expanded into complex onshore industrial projects. This gives us a unique ability to adapt and deliver across industries.

Harbor and Yard Support: Services for vessels and port-based operations, including inspection, maintenance, and modifications.

Inspection & Testing: Detailed condition assessments of equipment and systems to enable safe and efficient operations.

Engineering & Fabrication: Design and production of tailored industrial solutions.

Installation, Repair & Maintenance: Service support to industrial facilities and marine assets – ensuring uptime and operational reliability.

Forged in industry — built by and for the industrial sector — we deliver reliable solutions that safeguard the values of tomorrow.

Offshore wind references - wind turbine installation jack-up vessels.

We have worked closely with Harren Group, based in Germany, supporting both of their wind turbine installation jack-up vessels. Our involvement has included a wide range of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) scopes, including advanced Phased Array inspections on deck cranes and full classification society NDT of the jacking legs.

Throughout this project, we collaborated closely with both major classification societies – DNV and ABS. In one particularly notable case, we used Phased Array technology to determine the thread length within the tie rods – a task that no other provider Harren had consulted believed to be possible. Even DNV initially considered it unfeasible. We mobilized personnel and, with DNV in attendance as witness, successfully completed over 10 inspections in a single day.

This demonstrated not only our advanced technical capabilities but also our commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions under classification society oversight.

We are currently expanding our offshore wind portfolio and are working with several other shipowners connected to offshore wind projects.
